my removal was done on November 1st, it was a last minute thing, I had called Mary Saturday evening requesting a quote , it was after hours that I had called her , and she was so helpful and accommodating. she returned my call not too long after our first conversation, she had given my quote , reasonable price. Sunday her crew pitch up at my premises at 8, was greated by crew , showed them whats going, they moved quick professionally every item was taken care of as promised. I was very pleased with ALERT REMOVALS staff and service, I have used this company and I have seen the kind service they provide. well done guys I will recommend yourl to family and friends.

I previously reviewed that we needed to lay criminal chargers of theft against Alert Removals; however same was avoided. They damaged our property & we said the 2 damaged items needed to be returned to the manufacturer. 50% of the payment was not paid by the manufacturer due to the damage, but Mary illegally retained our property due to this. We told Mary that criminal chargers would be lay against Alert Removals. Mary clearly didn’t understand her legal obligations to us as the owners of the property. Three days later it was apparent that she was not returning the property and thus, my husband informed Mary that we were going to the police station if she failed to return our furniture by 10am, Mary then returned our furniture. It made our experience with Alert Removals horrendous and stressful. The way in which Mary conducts herself is disgraceful. I wish I had looked into the reviews of Alert Removals before having the misfortune of crossing paths with them.

It was an uncommon instance as Alert removals have been in operation for many years and in all of the years of service we have prided ourselves in providing our customers with the best possible service. In every major service it is inevitable that at some point misunderstanding ensues. Our business contract was with Tongue and Grove who fully understood that delivery dates can be between 3-4 days after pick up. We therefore believe that Miss Debbie McMillan misjudged the communication and terms of service as our client was Tongue and Grove. We acknowledge that there might be delays due to Covid protocols and lockdown regulations but we always admit our faults and correct unintentional misunderstandings. We have not intentionally retained any property and all items damaged was paid for. We apologise that your experience did not match your expectations however we do have a lot of customers who have valued and appreciated our services.

This company is horrid!! They damaged so much of our furniture and we told them to return same to the manufacturing company and now they are holding onto our property!! We have been forced to lay criminal charges against them! Please avoid using this company!
