Genevieve is passionate about children and encouraging them to reach their full potential. She is also dedicated to equipping parents in their task of raising the next generation. She also aims to encourage and equip teachers in their role in child development in our diverse country.
Her psychological experience includes psychological assessment, including school readiness, learning difficulties and career guidance. She also offers psychotherapy for children and adolescents with learning, physical, emotional and cognitive impairments, as well as parent guidance, family therapy, couple counselling and teacher support. Working with individuals, families, and schools (using individual counselling, small groups and large group presentations), she works from a systems perspective which views problems within a broader context (holistic view). She also values working alongside multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, occupational, speech and remedial therapists, medical sisters and psychiatrists.
