Unfortunately cant recommend Swimmatics in Milnerton! First teacher made our child cry more than actual swimming. Lots of underwater games and my child wasn’t helped struggling to get up. This happened several times - even after speaking to the teacher. I was forced to give 2 months notice when I wanted to change schools. Got a new teacher and Covid started - we were asked to pay lessons upfront to help the school. I was owed 6 lessons since 2020 - and I was told they expired now and I can’t book lessons. I find this so sad that during a time of Covid we were asked for help but then they can’t accommodate lessons. There’s far better schools with accommodating rules to choose for swimming lessons. Swimmatix doesn’t care for their clients but just want your money and forever changing rules and contracts ??
Swimmattix is an unethical organisation. We paid during lockdown, with the understanding that this money was an advance to deal with cash flow issues from April until August in good faith. On arrival, we found a new teacher without notification. I believe we should have been offered a change of slots or teacher or at least a transition period to accommodate the change with a toddler. We lodged a complaint 6 weeks later, and after a week we heard nothing and cancelled the service. And they STILL want two months’ notice even though we paid throughout 2020, so essentially the payments are not credited to my account. They send a statement of account directly to my email, but when you lodge a complaint there’s so much bureaucracy. Do not go to Swimmattix or sign any paperwork with them. There are many alternative businesses which function with integrity, esp during a global pandemic. They do not care about clients, nor the service given. Crisis reveals character, they only care about money.
You really cannot go wrong with Swimmattix. Highly trained teachers. Top facilities. If you want to see progression and your child swimming... send them to Swimmattix.
