The John Thomas Education Centre, previously known as Tinkerbell, was established in 1989 and founded by Brenda Lynch (1958 - 2016).
The school is centrally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac at the end of Amon Avenue with easy access from Stella Road and Main Road. Boasting a large playground with lovely play equipment to keep the children fully entertained, a 12 metre pool for swimming lessons, four spacious classrooms that are cleaned throughout the day and a beautifully decorated children’s bathroom to make potty training fun!
Our aim is to provide quality education and care in a fun-filled, happy and secure environment. Experienced, qualified and dedicated staff ensure each child is meticulously cared for.
We have small classes of 16 children and we follow the CAPS curriculum to prepare your child for Primary school.
Security is of the utmost importance. There are CCTV cameras in each class and we are monitored 24/7 by a security company.
We welcome children from 3 months to Grade R.
