In 2009 Annatjie Dewberry saw a need in the market and decided to sell Gas Geysers on the internet. The reliability of the units and their fast delivery ensured that the business grew.

Herb Kageler joined Annatjie in 2010 as a partner and they formed Dewhot as a company importing their own brand of Gas Geyser. Herb’s technical knowledge meant that Dewhot could now offer technical support and repairs. He has optimized the internal mechanics and quality controls and improves the standards of these units constantly.

The increase in demand which is because of the excellent quality of the gas geysers and the prompt customer service means that we had to have more hands. Marcel joined in 2013 and has taken on the Technical queries and repairs. His extensive knowledge of these units enables most problems to be diagnosed and rectified telephonically. Tracy joined in 2015 and does a sterling job with all the quotations and invoicing providing a prompt response. Patrick who has been with us from the beginning continues to be our reliable stores/dispatch man.
