I have suffered with my condition my whole life. Often being over medicated by professionals. Dr Eppel was spot on immediately on our first visit. He amended and adjusted my medication . I was very comfortable, his bedside matter, on a par with my understanding of things. He is professional and there are no words to describe his level of experience. I have been looking for a Dr like Steven for all my life. His new approach to my disorder, was a breathe of fresh air and gave me hope that there was light at the end of the tunnel. Today I am managing my condition and have never been more in control of my life for a very long time.
This Doctor and receptionist are playing with peoples lives. I have been trying to get a script the whole week for my medication. I am on the verge of killing myself and today I was refused help because I have been to the office twice to pick up a script and it wasn't there. They told me they cannot find me on their system even though I have been there for two separate appointments. They couldn't even pick up the phone again and contact me. I was then told "tell me what medication you want and I will write you the script." I don't know what medication I need... When trying to explain why I am on the edge and at breaking point I was told... "I don't care who has died in your family. " I am utterly bewildered. I have been under treatment at another doctor for 11 years and I have never felt so hopeless in my life.
When I reported my problem with Lamectin to Dr Steven Eppel - (severe rash after I had been taking the meds for approximately 18 months), he was agreeable for me to go off the meds - what impressed me at the time he never insisted I take another medication as other psychiatrists have done!
I have been a patient of Dr Eppel's since 2001. He is by far the best psychiatrist I've ever been to. His knowledge of psychiatric medication is remarkable. My husband and I are at a high level of functioning because of his prescribed medication. I have honestly not found anyone as good as he is.
