From humble beginnings, the Suhana's Caterers family started up some 38 years ago in a little town in Durban called Overport. The founding members were Najmunisa Ebrahim Muhamed and Iqbal Khan. They had a passion to entertain guests and decided to pursue this as a business adventure and it took off from there. It is estimated that in these many years of service that we have helped make the dreams of over 1900 brides come true, along with countless birthday parties, religious functions and conferences.

We are B.E.E supporters, Member of the s.m.m.e (small micro-medium enterprise) and specialize in Event management, Event co-ordination and Eastern/Western events.

The company is based in Durban and is an offsite catering company which caters for all events in South Africa. We are capable of doing events for two (2) people all the way to 3000 people. We have a staff complement including waiters, event coordinators, managers and chefs.
Over the years I have had the privilege of catering and working personally for. Here at Suhana's Catering and Events we take care of all our individual clients needs and design the menus and events to exceed our guests’ expectations. Every event is a spectacle and we work to every client’s budget.
We offer some extra services over and above our catering services; these include hiring of the best crockery, cutlery, glasses, and decor for your event, the best flowers and flower arrangements done by professionals, highly trained service staff for all departments in hospitality, beverage requirements, menu development, event management, wedding planning and skills development courses.
We pride ourselves in guest satisfaction and will stop at nothing to supply the best service, the best cuisine, and the best events in the country. Exceeding the guests’ expectations is the company's philosophy.
