Twist Some More was founded in 2007 by Chef Johan van Schalkwyk, who started out from home doing small scale catering and producing gourmet slow cooked convenience meals.

The name, inspired by Johan’s eldest son Oliver, is a play on Oliver Twist wanting ‘some more’. Johan’s chef boots have stood in Buitenverwachting, Spaansmacht River Café on Uitsig, Seasons on Diemersfontein, and most recently founded the award winning Stone Kitchen restaurant. Twist Some More is now based in an historic barn on the Hexenberg farm, one of the closest to the town of Wellington. Included in the mix is a restaurant, a lounge bar and an ever expanding catering division. Ole!!
