Originally Langenstrass & Sons (now trading as Langenstrass Services). We are a blacksmith and engineering business making light forgings and sharpening picks, moils and chisels. We take pride in our work and every job and customer is important to us.
We have recently added new services:
- Sharpening of garden tools. We sharpen all blades (except circular saw blades).
- Gwalas – we manufacture gwalas from EN9 round bar.
- We also do tow hooks and rivets for tow hooks.
- We Sharpen: Moils & Chisels, Boulder Busters, Gwalas, Clay Spades, Asphalt Cutters.
Langenstrass and Sons was established in 1968 by Arthur Langenstrass and his two sons Alan and Trevor. We are a blacksmith and engineering business making light forgings and sharpening picks, moils and chisels. It is still a family business currently run by the late Alan's wife Jeannette Langenstrass, using the same high standards as when it started.
