Carport King was contracted to erect a carport at my residence. After a mere 12 months rust was appearing on a number of places. The company was informed of the status, to no fail. The matter was again reported with commitment that repair work will be carried out the next Monday, only to be notified later that the guarantee expired as my final payment was eight days after completion of the task. My question was how a late payment became the main cause of corrosion on the structure. Response was simply that I paid late and have no claim. The agreement is very bias towards the company. Poor workmanship was provided in that the roof sheeting covered the gutters depositing water from the roof directly into main frame channeling, resulting in premature corrosion. My eight day late payment on completion of the task renders all poor workmanship worthless. I do not recommend this company as a service provider of choice.
