AV Counselling provides counselling services to individuals; kids and teens; and families. I strive to create a warm and empathetic atmosphere where you, the client may share your experiences.

Counselling is a process of facilitation whereby the counselor facilitates the healing process together, with the client. The inherent value and uniqueness of each client's situation is respected.

As a client of AV Counselling, you will be treated with respect and in a non-judgmental manner, able to share to your experiences and emotions in a safe, confidential environment.

AV Counselling will assist the client, through various therapeutic tools and methods to gain mastery over those situations and experiences they may be experiencing difficulty with.

Counselling sessions are one hour long. The first session will be an introductory session and to obtain background information. It also allows you, the client to decide if you are comfortable with the entire process.

Most people, at some stage of their life will be faced with unforeseen, difficult and/or emotionally taxing situations. Individual counselling allows a client to explore these issues and emotions in a safe and confidential environment. Trust is invested in you, the client to be the master of your own healing process, whilst I, the counselor merely facilitate this process.
