Northside was established by Kevin Sparg 20 Years ago in 1995 to supply electrical requirements to contractors, industry, buildings and everyone North of Durban, hence the name. Northside has grown considerably over the years and currently has 4 branches supplying all over KZN.

•Stock Availability: We keep a huge range of electrical, lighting and related stock. We try to have at least a month’s stock on hand or enough stock to satisfy any order. If we don’t have something we will get it as fast as possible, we don’t want to keep you waiting. We also stock up on items that are in short supply. All profit and finance available since 1995 has been re-invested into stock.
•Price: Northside’s motto is Value for Money. We try to offer the best quality at the lowest price in Durban and in South Africa. To achieve this we take advantage of any deals and bulk specials offered by our suppliers and we buy extra stock before any price increase. Northside is a member of Electrobase. Electrobase deals with key suppliers in the electrical industry to give its 40 members with 100 Wholesalers the best deals available. Northside is a shareholder of Enerji. Enerji imports and buys in bulk to get a lower price and distributes from its warehouse in Joburg. Northside is respected by its suppliers as a well-run and key wholesaler in KZN.
•Customer Satisfaction: We know time is money so we do our best to serve customers and get orders out quickly. We also respect our customers and understand that without customers we would not have jobs.
•Management and Staff: Northside has a compliment of 63 friendly staff working as an efficient and team. Northside staff are proud to be part of the team. Northside is a family business with the C.E.O and Managing Director’s door open to customers and staff and are always involved in all aspects of the running of the business.
