U3 are property developers, designers and builders of dreams.
We began our journey in June 2005 – with a clear vision of wanting to bring a fresh and contemporary approach to doing business within the property market in Durban SA.
We launched as a property real estate & investment company. Our first project was working with the Elan Group in launching and selling Simbithi Eco Estate on the north coast of Kwa Zulu Natal – still to this day one of the largest and most successful lifestyle estates in SA. This platform for us allowed us to quickly grasp all aspects of the property market – especially development, investment, sales, construction, and design.
This platform allowed us to diversify into property management, working alongside auditors Ernst & Young , we managed all national housing & relocations for expatriates Unilever SA.
This diversification continued into an interior design company focussing on designing & fitting out small to large commercial and residential projects alike. This company has over 13 years experience in a number of diverse projects from up market residential homes, office and retail projects, hotels and FFE project, large residential developments & lifestyle estates planning.
This progression evolved further to launching our own construction and project management – U3 Projects -allowing us to deliver a full turn-key offering to our growing number of clients.
A couple years later in 2014 we began our own property development company – allowing us to pioneer and bring to market our own projects and property investment pipeline.
Over 15 years we have grown through the privilege of working alongside incredible clients – from private families building their dreams homes, through to blue chip companies doing major office relocations, hotels groups and some international clients such as the US Embassy.
Our combined passion for people and design is what makes us proud of who we are and what we do. Together, we have a a wealth of experience which enables us to to provide the very best in interior design, furniture design architectural design, construction and project management. We have had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects with our clients – ranging from upmarket homes and hotel developments, corporate and retail ventures, as well as health & wellness enterprises.
Union 3 is run by a young and dynamic team – we enjoy working hands on with our clients and have different strengths and areas of expertise. Under one roof we are able to offer a full turn-key solution for a project, from design to implementation, and our consistency in being able to translate a clients dream into a reality is what makes our business the success story it is today.
