Established in 1973, Bollie Nursery School was specifically designed and built as a nursery school and baby care centre.
Bought over from the original owners in 1985, Mrs LidaHamman, principal and owner has successfully grown the school to one of the most well-known and established education and care facilities on the East Rand.
Bollie offers education and care to the following age groups:
Baby Care Centre from age 3 months old
Toddler Section
Grade 0000 – 3 year olds
Grade 000 – 4 year olds
Grade 00 – 5 year olds
Grade R – Pre-School Class – 6 year olds
Aftercare Centre – Grade 1 to 7
Registered with the Department of Health, Department of Education and the Department of Social Development, Bollie ensures to give the best care and education to each and every student. We have a loving and caring staff with years of experience that are dedicated to look after your most precious gift – your child. Once your baby moves from the Baby Care Section to the Toddler Section, we assist in potty training, teaching eating skills, rhymes and songs – and we play a lot! On our Nursery School side we have qualified teachers and assistants whom educate, support and care for each and every child on their specific and unique individual level and age group. We limited our classes to 28 learners constantly striving to give each and every child all the love, care, attention and education that they need.We issue rapport cards twice each year as well as host regular parent evenings. Bollie boasts big open play areas with suitable equipment for all our age groups. We always have adult supervision during play time.All our play areas are safely enclosed to ensure the safety of your children. We have a well equipped and organised After Care Centre. We collect your child from his/her school at a specific arranged time daily. Once your child arrives at Bollie from school, we provide a cooked meal for lunch. After lunch we ensure all homework is done under supervision and with assistance. Bollie has a fully equipped kitchen with trained chefs cooking well balanced meals daily according to a set menu. We provide breakfast, lunch and snacks. Bollie provides “Tuck” every Friday as well as “Baking” days every month – which is great fun!. A few plus points:
Bollie is open all year round – Monday to Friday
We only close once a year – normally the 2nd Friday of December and re-open on the 1st working day in January
The School operates from 06h30 to 17h30 daily
School fees are from January to December yearly
All extra’s i.e.: baking, tuck, toiletries are included in your monthly fees – no hidden costs
We offer extra mural activities like karate, ballet, modern dancing, swimming, pottery and ‘kinder kinetica’
