Signwriting

Small business advertising can be one of the most creative and fun parts of keeping your business booming and signwriting is a large part of that. You put signs outside your business, on your website, near your business, at the businesses of  friends, and even on fliers to hand out to everyone you know. The artwork and wording on each sign should make your business memorable in name and service. Use your own personal artwork creations to ensure that this is the case with all kinds of signwriting you do for your small business.

Deciding What To Use

Your mind might be buzzing with all kinds of ways to use this idea or your mind might be completely blank. Either instance can still yield excellent results. If you're mind is blank and you feel that you're not artistically inclined, you needn't worry about finding personal artwork creations. You can use photos from the inside and outside of your shop, employee photos, and photos of the goods and services you offer for the signwriting you'd like to do. A simple addition of some well placed photos could be just what you need to make your small business advertising memorable to your next potential clients.

Get The Employees Involved

You may still wish to use personal artwork even if you're not artistically inclined and you don't have to employ outside help to do it. You can get your employees involved and see if any of them have some hidden talent in artwork or advertising (or both) that they're willing to lend to your small business advertising ventures. You can also make it a contest between the employees to foster a little friendly competition and motivate them to come up with interesting ideas. You may also have employees who aren't artistically inclined. In this case you can open up your ideas to the public. Ask the regulars, make it a contest between customers, or use surveys and polls to see what exactly you're customers want when they look at a sign.

Incorporate Savings Into Your Signwriting

Once you actually have your signs designed, printed up, and ready to hang and distribute, you still need people to look at them. One of the best ways to ensure that they will is to include some savings for the customers on the sign. A flyer with a coupon, a sign depicting specials for the day, week, or month, or social media posts and online coupons that involve the customers to achieve savings. Use things like "buy one, get one free" or allow children to participate at a discounted price if your place is family oriented. In the end, you should be able to incorporate this savings into your signwriting without compromising the artistic design you worked so hard to create. In no time, you'll be drawing new customers to your small business and you'll have a million ideas bouncing around for your next signwriting campaign.
