Based on our Christian beliefs, our purpose is to meet, to the best of our ability, your child’s basic needs (social, intellectual, physical and emotional) with love, integrity, hard work and self-discipline. ZooZoo Land is a haven where your child will feel loved, safe, and content and will have loads of FUN. We provide a nurtured environment where your child can build a foundation for continued learning.

A feeling of self worth is one of the greatest attributes that you can give a child. Your child will be taught how to make good choices, display good manners, and work independently as well as in a group, to take responsibility, to share and to respect.

We see to:
- Baby care: 1 – 18 Months;
- Toddlers: 18 Months – 3 Years;
- Children: 3 Years – 5 Years;
- Grade R: 5 Years – 6 Years.

General:

- We are open from 06:00 to 18:00;
- Closed on Public Holidays (and if the holiday falls on a Tuesday or Thursday, the Monday and Friday will be a school holiday);

We close +/- the 15th of December till +/- the 10th of January each year;

- Open door policies;

Our teachers are well trained;

- We have a Speech and Occupational therapist that can assist during school hours;

- We offer a variety of extra Murals at an additional cost. Swimming, Ballet, Karate, Play ball, and more;

- Progress reports – twice yearly;

- Verbal feedback;

- Your child will only be released to those individuals stipulated by you – Fingerprint access control;

Fee Structure: (2016)
- R2250 full day fee;
- R2150 ½ day fee;
- R1200 aftercare (excluding transport to the facility);
- R1000 enrollment fee.

Nutrition:
“A healthy child is a happy child.” A bowl of porridge is provided every morning between 7:00 and 7:45. Lunch is nutritionally balanced and required food components and nutrition sizes are met. Should your child be allergic to any of the food provided, please send a replacement meal for that day. The menu will be displayed every week.

Birthdays:
Birthdays are a very important day in a child’s life. And we try and make his or her day as special as possible. We therefore encourage you to send some cake or snacks for their special day. Arrangements can also be made for the school to arrange a party for the child at an additional cost. We would also love you to join us. (See our birthday policy)

Discipline:
Discipline is a fundamental part of our school. Children need discipline, but in a controlled and loving way. Your child will not be screamed at and absolutely no hitting is permitted. Alternative punishment, i.e. time-out is given. Should we have discipline issues with a child, the parent

Schools Safety Equipment:
The school is fitted with CCTV cameras in each class and outside the school, as well as finger print and facial recognition access control.
