Welcome to Langrug Lodge, situated in the Overberg, between Bredasdorp and Struisbaai alongside Soetendalsvlei – southern Africa’s largest natural body of fresh water. Langrug Lodge is a splendidly secluded and beautifully restored, self-catering cottage that was originally build in 1912.

It is fully-equipped and sleeps six in comfort. There are two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms – one with a Victorian bath. The cottage is quiet, stylish and primitive - yet with all the comforts of home! There is no electricity... a “donkie” makes hot water, candles provide light and cooking in an open fire seams so natural…

Outside, a eucalyptus tree shades a braai area sculpted in stone and on the other side, a stone bench sets the scene for late afternoon sundowners...
