Dixon Attorneys Incorporated is a legal practice which has established itself in the Western Cape, and with its offices in the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, an area fast developing as the address of choice.
The practice was initially established in 1989 by Ashoek Adhikari, and since 1999 Michael Dixon has been at the helm. The firm thus has a history of over 27 years.

The firm is headed by Michael Dixon, who has over 20 years of post-articles experience, and is currently reading towards the LLM degree in Commercial Law. Michael is supported a professional team of Candidate Attorneys and paralegals. Ashoek Adhikari is the firm's consultant, and brings years of legal and commercial experience to the team.

Our litigious and non-litigious matters are conducted on an hourly fee arrangement basis, alternatively on a globular agreed fee basis.
The conveyancing matters are billed in accordance with a set tariff as laid down by the Cape Law Society.
Finally, we are able to facilitate the granting of mortgage bonds by all the major financial institutions, as well as facilitating the granting of preferential interests rates by such institutions.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
As a firm established in the late 1980s, we were born out of, and continue to maintain a passion for justice. The 1990s saw a committed involvement in labour rights movements, and the providing of access to justice in the Industrial Court, and later its successor, the CCMA and Labour Court.
The millennium has brought on the continuation of this general commitment by way of an extensive pro-bono work programme, and direct involvement as founders and trustees of various community based trust, including for example the Human Right Media Trust and Filmmakers Against Racism.
