A colony of bees needed to be removed from some bee boxes in our garage (we were away and unable to do the job ourselves; we are beekeepers as well) and were provided Soetvlei Bee removal via our insurance. Off the bat, Lawrence was abrupt. The situation was explained to him – we are away, and some bees have moved into bee boxes in our garage, which needs to be removed soonest our neighbour is allergic. Lawrence came that day, thanks, and removed the bees by taking the frames (6 total) from our boxes (over 2 boxes) and putting them into his trap box. He also closed the garage window, which is sticky, to stop the bees from coming in. Removal was classified as complex, and the 6 frames that were taken were not replaced. When asked when he would return the frames taken, he was very rude and self-entitled and did not believe that he needed to return, replace or compensate the bee equipment that he took.In a nutshell: Bee Removal successful. Manner appalling. Watch your stuff.
