I have always been passionate about fitness, but becoming a personal trainer came about purely by chance. I started a career in Public Relations but the sheer pace of it all took a toll on my mental health. I quit to take some time out for myself. Months later, I took some fitness classes at my friend's gym. A couple of weeks later, he offered me the chance to become a trainer, I went for it. 8 years later and still going strong, it was the best decision I ever made.
My biggest motivator for doing what I do - my dad. The same year I started out as a trainer, my dad had a stroke. Years of overeating and being inactive had finally caught up with him. Seeing a loved one have to go through that was utterly heartbreaking. If I can help in any way for people to not have to go through that pain, I feel like I’ve done my bit.
The best part of the job - my clients! Getting stronger, achieving milestones you never thought you would, and feeling confident in your own skin are some of the best feelings. I love being able to play my part in that for my clients. As a fitness coach, I create personalized training programs tailored to your goals whilst providing support every step of the way.
