The name “Meskin” in optometry is synonomous with high quality eye care and has been a household name in Cape Town for 40 years.

Since Bernie’s return to South Africa in 1998, he has been inundated with requests by former patients to set up practice so that he could provide them with a service they had been unable to replace since his departure to the USA in 1996.

Bernie and Matthew opened the new upmarket practice in Sea Point in 2001. Matthew having qualified as an optometrist in both South Africa and the UK has worked in various practices in South Africa and London.

Meskin Optometrists merges together youth, new ideas and experience in the most modern upmarket surroundings.
