The plants are deciduous, with leaves that have whitish-blue undersides, and have small, bell-shaped pink flowers. Produces small-sized, dark blue sweet berries. The South African blueberry harvest season traditionally starts in September and ends in mid-February. These plants are cold hardy. Rabbiteye blueberries benefit from cross-pollination!
