TV & Video Doctor is the largest TV repair and DSTV Satellite Dish installation company in Pretoria, Centurion and Midrand. We employ 28 trained staff and do on average over 800 TV repair and DSTV installation jobs per month.
We repair all makes and types of TV - LED, LCD, Plasma, CRT (the old box type tv) and also Blu-ray DVD, Hi-Fi, CD Player, Amplifier and Microwave ovens and we offer free collection and delivery of TV repairs in Centurion and Pretoria East.
We install and repair DSTV and OVHD satellite tv systems, surround sound and home theatre. We also specialise in communal DSTV distribution networks for townhouse and guesthouses. This includes the planning and layout for new installations, upgrades, additions and repairs.
We are MultiChoice accredited installers and OVHD accredited installers. We are also accredited installers of Elsat and Aerial King satellite equipment sold in major chain stores.
For your peace of mind we have public liability insurance to cover us while installing DSTV at your home and goods in transit insurance while we transport your expensive TV set and all our work has a 3 month money back guarantee. Our vehicles are sign written and our installers wear a Multichoice identity card for your security.

TV & Video Doctor was founded in September 1986 by Eric Salberg as a sole proprietor. After expanding it was converted to a CC in August 1989. By 1999 having outgrown rented premises in Kloofsig, TV & Video Doctor bought a property and moved to its own premises at 132 Botha ave Lyttelton.
Our Satellite Dish installers are MultiChoice trained and certified. HiFi and TV Repair technicians have diplomas or technical certificates. All staff receive ongoing in house training and apprenticing which maintains high standards. All Sound system and TV repairs are tested and checked by a quality control inspector before return to the customer. Satellite dish installations are randomly spot checked. Our staff are incentivised for good service and customer feedback is monitored at management level.
We are up to date on the latest high definition Television technology and will gladly explain the advantages of MultiChoice Explora and Xtra view DSTV decoders and HDMI TV points to get the best possible picture from your HD television.
