Dr Sundram Dayalan Bulwer, Durban  

Dr Dayalan Sundrum qualified as a dentist in 1979 from UWC (University of the Western Cape). He worked as a general dentist until 1986. He also did his post graduate degree in orthodontics at UWC. He qualified as an orthodontist in 1990 and has been in private practice ever since. He has held numerous positions in the Dental Association of South Africa and served as the President of SASO (The South African Society of Orthodontists) from 2008-2010. He is a member of the SASO as well as the WFO (World Federation of Orthodontists).

Dr Sundrum regularly attends conferences, both national and international and is consequently versatile and experienced in the various techniques used in orthdontics.

He also has an obligation to the community by giving time and expertise to patients from the Albert Luthuli cranio-facial unit as well as the SMILE Foundation. Patients in need of orthodontic treatment are referred to his private practice whereby he undertakes the treatment gratis.
