To emphasise that SAFETY IS PERSONAL, Grashyo Health & Safety has designed unique methodologies of “Heart-to-Heart Conviction” safety interventions such as Live To Tell Keynote Address, Operational Safety Excellence (OSE), and Workplace Culture Lifestyle Activities (WCL).
1. Live To Tell Keynote Address
The Live to Tell Safety Awareness was established after the tragedy that occurred in 2008. Mdu Mathenjwa worked as a Plant Processor when a mixture of Sulphuric acid and Nitric acid exploded on him, most of his body sustained third-degree burns. Mdu thereafter spent approximately seven months in hospitalisation and rehabilitation.
After having suffered, to date physical, emotional pain and the likes, Mdu has lived to tell his story to all sectors of manufacturing industries, including miners. His primary emphasis is to instil the fact that safety is not only for business, but safety is also personal, too. The program shares the consequences of being a victim of workplace injuries: Their job changes, self-esteem changes, family changes, and society changes.
2. Operational Safety Excellence (OSE)
Grashyo Health & Safety has designed the all-new-in-the--safety-world, Operational Safety Excellence (OSE). Having not moved from our core business, which is Operational Behaviour, we are proud to introduce a model that recognises the blind spot that causes workplace incidents. . .

3. Workplace Culture Lifestyle (WCL)
Another effectively designed and developed service by Grashyo Health & Safety is a Workplace Culture Lifestyle (WCL), which received positive feedback from organisations that have experienced the service. Here, our activities are designed to connect Supervisors and Operators to attain the desired production while they remain conscious of safety in the workplace. WCL is a strictly activity-based program that performs wonders for staff in terms of safety being a lifestyle.
