As architects we address the need within the built environment for a profession to accept overall responsibility for the management and control of the design and construction process of building projects.
In consultation with the client we are able to assess the scope of the project, prepare design proposals, assemble an engineering and financial team, prepare tender documentation for tendering purposes and supervise the construction process to its final completion. Throughout the process the financial viability of the project is strictly monitored.
Existing buildings receive the same expert consideration through a process of built resource management where the possibilities of upgrading and renovation are assessed together with the financial viability of such projects. Informal sector development projects entail a participative role by the practice in initiating and managing the building process in consultation with community structures.
We realise that most building work involves considerable financial outlay by the client. We are mindful of this as we strive to deliver a built product of the highest quality and value for money, ensuring the highest professional standards are maintained by all parties through all stages of design and construction.
