My love of photography started at the age of 12 and has only gotten stronger over the years. My love of people and photography means that I get to do my dream job every day. I grew up in East London, South Africa. Nature had a way with me from a young age and I knew I wanted to pursue something that would allow me to be outside. After school, I got my bachelors degree in photography at TUT, Pretoria. In 2010 I made headlines when I walked the entire length of the South African coastline with my Border Collie, Zeta. The 3200 km walk took us ten months to complete. It changed my life, and since then I’ve done some things that a lot of people might call crazy, odd or amazing.

Lauren, my wife has been stealing my blanket since 2011. We lived in South Korea for two years while teaching English and we went on a really long walk together. Yes, another walk! This time we walked from the tip of Africa to the top of Namibia. This epic 3700 km journey took us through some of the most desolate landscapes on earth. We’re currently living in Hermanus writing a book and making a film about our walk. At the same time, I’m running my photography business, and totally loving it!
