Shikweni General Trading is an existing small sized service and construction company. Shikweni General Trading was established in 2009 by Shikweni Andrew Hlayiseka and Mhlongo Zondheka Ignetious. The core business of this company is to render construction services, transport services, welding, plumbing, cleaning, landscaping, irrigation, maintenance, car wash and other services. It is a BEE (Black Economic Empowernment) Company.

Shikweni General Trading was founded by Shikweni Andrew Hlayiseka of Doorfontein in Gauteng. Andrew has 40% ownership while Zondheka has 60% ownership in this company. They started this company in order to create employment opportunities for themselves and to other unemployed people in Doorfontein and neighbouring communities with emphasis on youth, women and people with disability.
