Order Notice period
Where possible please could all orders be placed at least 48 (fourty eight) hours in advance This is will greatly help Market Caterers to provide you our valued customer with best overall experience.
We do understand that placing an order 48 (fourty eight) hours is not always possible. Market Caterers will endeavor to assist with orders placed with within the 48 hour period to best of our ability. Please note your order might be subject to a late order fee of R300.00
Placing Order
All orders to be placed by email. Unfortunately no verbal, WhatsApp or sms orders will be accepted. This again is provide the best possible Service that we can
Any changes to your order must be made via email.
Placing Order requirements /details
When placing an order, include as much detail as possible, as we are finding we have to send numerous emails to confirm specifics. The more complete the initial email the less room for error
Examples of details required: Date, Time, number of people, if you require cutlery and crockery, tablecloths, as well as your beverage requirements, dietary requirements, staffing requirements, delivery address etc.
Confirmation of an order
When placing an order, please ensure you receive a confirmation that we have received your order and we have accepted your order.
Cancellations
Please note that no verbal cancellations will be accepted. If orders must be cancelled, it must be done via e-mail. Cancellations received within a 24 hour of event/ function order might be subject to a cancelation fee of 100% of the total value of the order. Cancellations received within a 48 hour of event/ function order might be subject to a cancelation fee of not more than 50% of the total value of the order.
Purchase Order numbers
If a quotation is send after the initial enquiry, please note that we must receive a signed quote as confirmation 48 hours in advance. Market Caterers will confirm all orders via e-mail. If your company uses a Purchase Order system, please also send through the PO number 48 hours before the catering is required, preferably the signed quote must be accompanied by the matching PO number. The onus is on the client that places the order to send through the PO number before the event. Your assistance in this regard would be highly appreciated.
