Terrible Service. General Gutters supplied and installed new gutter at my House. When it rained for the first time after the installation, I notice that there were some links. I immediately notified Dawid and he promised that they going to sort it out. It been more that six months and still waiting for them to come and fix it. David is now ignoring my calls and messages when I try to follow it up.

Sadly, in our industry we get confronted (gratefully seldom) with clients that is under the impression they own you after the fact. We attended to a leaking (linking) gutter shortly after the installation in Aug 2020, Another strange leak sprung up, which he never complained before: it sounded suspicious as we attended to leaks the previously at the same place. He claims that it leaked there from the beginning, but never pointed it out when we attended to the first service call. Guarantee claims is under the guarantee. Service calls carry a cost, which I explained. He refused to agree to the fee. Hence the review. I do not work on Sundays, or after hours. He calls at any time. Hence my ignoring him. We attend to guarantee claims: we do have them, as in his first instance, which he conveniently fails to mention. The installation was done on the booked date, in time, and we never received a good review. Now he claims he is getting bad service. He has the audacity to write a bad review. What is fair here?

Appalling workmanship and service . On the 8/09/2020 he came to our place to quote on a leaking gutter in our garage, he requested a 75% dep, I did not hesitate as he reassured me that he could solve the problem. the Job was started and completed on the 21/09/2020, I paid him the balance. On the 5/10/2020 nice rainy day, well what do you know the Gutter is still leaking in the same place as before again I have been screwed over, I sent Dawid a video clip via Whatsapp showing him the leak, to which he responded in can be the gutter must be somewhere else. On the 11/10/2020 I followed up with Dawid with no response then again on the 13/10/2020 to which he stated that he could come around on Friday the 16th to see where the water was coming from and what do you know he did not pitch Today is the 19/10/2020, I have been blocked from his WhatsApp, he is not taking my call or responding to my text messages I WILL NEVER RECOMEND ANYONE TO USE GENERAL GUTTERING SUPPLIERS & MANUFACTURES

This client has proven himself to be a pathological liar. It happens to be a reflection of his character I experienced first hand. When the appointment was set for me to look at a custom gutter to be replaced, I was met with his son. He showed me a rusted gutter that was leaking on a rusted thru joint. That is a simple enough job to successfully complete. Also not the first we would do. What was failed to disclose the leak originates from a completely different section of the roof. He knew that and in his own words never disclosed the origin of the problem to 4 other contractors. Now, logically five of us can't all have it wrong. The new gutter fitted is seamless, thus it can not leak. This type of client nobody needs. A cheap liar and then slating a job and company afterwards when he gets caught out on his deception. His type we don't need to do work for. He is a crook and a lying thief. Trying to get a company to solve a greater problem cheaply.
