Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Magaliesburg, Bernally's Fishing Lodge offers furnished self-catering chalets with fire places, tented accommodation, camping sites and caravan sites.
A boma and bar area (self catering) are available, set close to the water. Amenities for campers & day visitors and well stocked dams make this an ideal getaway place. Only 50 minutes from the bustle of Johannesburg, it's well within reach for a welcome break for the whole family.?
Chalet Giant Blue Heron:
- Fully self catering kitchen with a large fridge.
- In the open plan area which is separate from the kitchen there is a large bar with bar stools ideal for entertaining. This area we can also furnish with up to 3 double beds for large family's as well as a few single foam mattresses if needed.
- There is a nice big fireplace in the lounge area of the unit and a table and chairs to relax eat or play games.
- On the patio there is a large table with 6 chairs as well as a braai and a spot to make a nice campfire.
- The unit is situated about 20m from the waters edge of the main dam and has a lovely view out over the main dam.
Kingfisher Chalet:
- 2 bedroomed chalet is self catering, has a bathroom (shower, hand basin and toilet) and kitchen.
- There is a lounge area with cozy fireplace.
- On the patio there is a large table and 6 chairs.
- There is also a braai and spot to make a nice campfire. The chalet has a lovely view out over all the dams.
Cottage Callum:
- 2-Sleeper self-catering thatched cottage, overlooking the main dam.
- Openplan kitchen with kettle, 2-plate stove, toaster, fridge, wash basin, basic cutlery and crockery, and pots and pans.
- Cozy fireplace, and small lounge area with chairs and coffee table.
- Bathroom with toilet, hand basin and bath; hot water geyser dedicated to cottage.
- Fully electrified with sufficient plug points.
Fisherman's Cabin:
- This rustic one-room Timber Built Cabin sleeps 2 people.
- It is furnished with a double bed & bedding.
- The kitchenette section has bar fridge, toaster, kettle, gas-bottle cooker and cutlery & crockery.
- The wooden deck overlooks the main dam, with table and chairs.
Camping:
We have 22 campsites on the waters edge with lovely views out over the main dam. Bathrooms are new and clean and we have a nice wash up area for dishes etc. All sites have braai facilities, and place to make a camp fire.
