I am a registered clinical psychologist working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My areas of interest are the following: Trauma, Grief and Bereavement, Depression, Anxiety, Relationship problems, Self Esteem and Self Image Issues, Career Assessments, Mental Health Promotion.
My preferred approach to personal change is Solution Focused. By coming to DO psychotherapy with me, I take that the client is ready to engage in Solution talk. The essence of therapy is to make change in the client's situation. Descriptions that favour the presence of solutions rather than the absence of problems will be promoted.
Nevertheless, awareness and understanding that each client is unique, a more eclectic approach is also taken into consideration to best suit the unique needs of the client.
