Mandy's Sewing School will equip you with the skill of sewing and enable you to start your own business and become successful. You will learn how to work with sewing machines, and make many different types of garments. eg. skirts, tops, dresses, jackets, trousers, evening gowns, wedding gowns, bedding, curtaining, scatter cushions.
Mandy Wood has been doing dressmaking/sewing for the last 46 years and has been training students for 38 years,
Mandy teaches students individually and also does 1 - 3 month sewing programs where groups of up to 20 students are trained practically and theoretically in clothing manufacturing. Up to 46 credits are earned for these programs which can later lead up to a Diploma being earned. The 6 week to 3 months courses are generally subsidized with grants to assist the unemployed sector whereby they can
gain a skill are minimum cost.
Saturday courses are also run for employed ladies (and men)
