Dr Paul Ramkissoon Newcastle  Verification Pending

Dr Paul Ramkissoon qualified as an Optometrist in 1987 hand holds doctorates in Optometery from both the USA and South Africa. He has being described as “a man with vision who has his eye firmly on success and achievement” by the Newcastle Express.

His list of achievements is endless. He is an external examiner at Universities throughout South Africa. In addition, he is also a research scientist with over 70 publications as well as Editor for a South African Optometric Journal called “Vision”.

Dr Ramkissoon also holds the world record for the most amounts of qualifications in his field. As a youngster, Dr Ramkissoon himself suffered from poor eyesight. The difference that a pair of glasses made to his life was one of the driving forces behind his choice in career. Growing up as an orphan was motivation enough to break the cycle of abject poverty and rise above his conditions. He leads by example and serves as a beacon for others and in those in similar difficulties that achievement is possible.
