At that time, Armand was working as a workshop manager at Super Group, and JJ was employed at Digit Vehicle Tracking. However, their desire to supplement their income and make a difference in the transport industry fueled their passion. They began subcontracting for Top Speed and JMR, utilizing their expertise to support others in need.
After a decade of unwavering hard work and dedication, they proudly established a reliable 24/7 Breakdown Service, earning recognition as a BEE Level 4 Company. This recognition was made possible through contracts with respected names like JMR, NFA, Trans Rep, and Shoprite, reflecting their commitment to excellence.
In 2021, Armand’s daughter, Angelique, joined the family business, becoming the A in A & J. With her exceptional administrative skills, she played a crucial role in ensuring all legal requirements were met, helping A & J become a formidable force in the industry.
