About Us

Kwest was founded in 1928 by Arthur Vos and was first named VOS Implements & Hardware where after Mr Hirschen joined in the1940’s.

Since 1950 Wally Levy was the sole owner of Kwest until his brother Leon Levy joined in 1954 where after they sold to Afrox in 1970.

Ernst von Finckenstein bought Kwest from Afrox in 1997.

With focus on quality, competitive prices and excellent service to our customers, Kwest has for over 82 years maintained to be one of Polokwane’s leading retailers of Hardware, Tools and Industrial Equipment to the Industrial, Automotive, DIY and Mining Sectors.
