Family business was started in the 1890's by R R Martin (Grandfather of Greg). Business was originally started as handymen, chimney sweeps, general repairs as well as locksmiths. Original motto of the company was " We can repair anything but a broken heart". When Mr R R Martin passed away, Mrs Martin carried on with the business together with her two (2) sons as locksmiths (one of them being Greg's Dad). Greg came into the business when he was 16 years of age in 1966. Bradley Martin (Son of Greg and 4th Generation) came into the business in 2001 and is presently still part of the business.
