I qualified as a lumberjack in UK in 2000 and have brought home to South Africa their climbing techniques and safety ideas. We use only approved climbing harnesses, climbing irons, and ropes. My staff and I wear correct safety gear to ensure a safe environment so that we can focus on the tree removal or trimming
The ground staff are competent with ropes and ladders, and all have the expertise and competence in chainsaw use.
All workers are covered by Workmen's Compensation, which means OHSA rules and regulations are followed correctly and therefore exonerating any obligations falling on the homeowner,in any event of injury to workers.
