I have a 7 year 45cc MacAfric chainsaw that I got from my grandfather, he worked it for a long time cutting firewood. I am deeply impressed by the excellent service I have had with this old saw,with a chain that is 5 years old. It worked very hard yesterday cutting up a fallen over pine tree here in Centurion, it performed flawlessly. Even after breaking the bar sprocket( the sprocket literally broke in half and came out of the bar)it continued cutting like a champ,enabling us to get rid of the tree. I am not going to mention names,but the other brands couldn't keep up with this orange beast. I will definitely recommend these chainsaws to anyone looking for a good reliable saw.
