I am writing to provide my personal reference for Punkah Mdaka who has played a significant role in helping me develop English skills over the years. From a young age, she regularly assisted me with reading, writing and grammar. Her patience, and ability to explain with clarity complex concepts in a simple way that was easy to understand made a lasting impact on my learning.

I am grateful for her consistent support and guidance. My English improved tremendously and I am much more confident in both written and spoken English. Beyond her teaching abilities, she is encouraging, reliable and genuinely passionate about helping others grow. She is a great communicator and truly someone who enjoys seeing her students succeed.

Punkah Tutors is in the business of online teaching. I teach English, isiZulu and Afrikaans grade 1-7.

My teaching experience is varied; primarily I have taught learners in primary school privately for about twenty years. I conducted my lessons in the evenings and on weekends. As a Librarian, I also assisted young students with their assignments coupled with selecting books appropriate for their levels. My teaching was not limited to language but covered subjects of different grades. On request, I offer face-to face lessons within a 15km radius.

As a holder of the Adult Basic Education and Training Certificate, I also conducted classes for women who ran Non Profit Organisations in rural areas. My teaching experience mainly covers young students and adults. I have also developed presentation skills.
