I offer in-person and online therapy to adults and adolescents with various needs. My interests include:

In my work I mainly use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). However, what is most important for me, is to create a safe and strong therapeutic relationship through empathetic understanding and non-judgemental acceptance. In every session I strive to create a safe therapeutic space where you can express your true thoughts and feelings to facilitate healing and growth.
CBT is based on the idea that how we think, how we feel, and how we act are all interlinked. And specifically, that our thoughts determine the emotions we experience and how we react and behave. CBT has been found to be effective in treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders and psychological problems, as well as to gain deeper insight into oneself.
I also like to incorporate mindfulness practices when it is appropriate. Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your attention to what is happening in and around you in the moment and is particularly helpful in CBT as it assists you to identify your thoughts and emotions.
In my work with adolescents, I understand the value of having a safe space where you can express yourself freely without judgement and knowing that what you share is confidential. If you desire to include family members in your healing and growth, I will assist you with this.
