With our "first world" products we can provide our customers with a range of options to chose from.

ViewProtect initially focused on manufacturing transparent burglar bars for the DIY market in South Africa. The Company identified a significant weakness with the polycarbonate product and, within a month, developed and patented leading-edge Armed Bars (Smart Bar Technology). This progression allows for window and door burglar bars to be connected to any alarm system, providing 24/7 active burglar alarm protection. The technology not only offers an aesthetic solution to the typical metal bars, it additionally allows for an alarm system to be activated at all times around a perimeter, including when a building is occupied, or a window is left open. Further, the product does not activate accidental false alarms, saving security companies substantial economic and time costs on unproductive reaction calls. ViewProtect continues to evolve, recently launching a ClearTrellis, (the first global transparent retractable security gate), HotLock (fire escape through transparent burglar bars), the new AluRail system (stronger and aesthetical pleasing fixing option), and also launched the new TROJAN gate (security swing or sliding gate with an 8 point protection feature). All of this development was accomplished at the Company's headquarters in Stellenbosch, South Africa, with lab testing at the University of Stellenbosch Institute of Structural Engineering.
