The House of Passementerie was established in August 2006 by husband and wife team, Simon and Virginia Garnham, after realising that there was a gap in the market for fine trimmings and tiebacks, at affordable prices, for the interior decorating industry.

Virginia has many years of local and international interior design experience, whilst Simon's background is one of import and distribution. This combination led to the development of a book file, which is compact, easy to use and carry, distributed to interior designers, decorating shops and related industries.
