Keshia Petersen began her Physiotherapy journey in 2010, after graduating at the University of Cape Town (UCT). Subsequently, she gained the opportunity to perform her community service 1-year program at Middleburg Hospital in 2011, where she graciously worked with new patients and doctors on a daily basis.
In 2012, after gaining vast knowledge and earning her stripes in the field, she returned to Cape Town and began working at hospitals such as Constantiaberg MediClinic and other reputable facilities.
Her liking for her profession turned into her ultimate passion when she gained more experience treating sports injuries. In 2015, she completed an additional course in Sports Physiotherapy, which specializes in the assessment and treatment of sport oriented people, such as rugby players, athletes etc.
She has been able to take on this role regardless of whether it is at amateur or at a professional level.
Since realizing this passion, she has been involved with Rugby and currently resides at the Hamilton’s Rugby Club and has joined the Western Province Academy as well.
