B&M Systems was founded in 1981 (as Beamish & Mallinson) by two computer professionals with the express purpose of providing a service to the Construction Industry.

Martin Beamish left the company and in 1996 Mike Metelerkamp merged his company, Libra Computers, with B&M. This brought a complete set of new skills to B&M and we were able to add Unix and cabling services to those already on offer to our customers.

During 2000 we added Veterinary Practice Management to our range of vertical software solutions

From this developed the concept of catering specifically for vertical markets and providing all the computing services that their customers would need. At this stage we specialized in the Construction and Veterinary Industries supplying specialist software, consulting, computers, hardware, networking, training and engineering support.
