I had a gentleman come in to clean the carpet in a guest bedroom on the 16th of December 2020. 1stly the dirty water was emptied into the shower cubicle, clogging the drain and leaving a mess behind in the guest bathroom. 2ndly The carpet was left damp but I was assured it would dry within 2-3 hours... It is now 22h00 on the 17th of December (a whole day later) and the room smells like someone's died in there, the carpet is still damp despite leaving all windows open and the fan going. I contacted the gentleman early this morning about the smell and the carpet still appears dirty in patches, he has since replied that he will borrow another vacuum from a friend and get back to me to sort it out, but no arrangement has been made since. I have guests arriving in 2 days and my house has this terrible odour and no guest room available for them. I would not recommend these service providers to anyone.
