A Simple Vanilla Sponge is delicious too….you decide….
Each cake is made up of a number of layers, with delicious fillings inbetween. A choice of the type of icing also has to be made. Perhaps a more contemporary Chocolate Ganache Icing, or rather the more traditional White Fondant Icing. Wedding Cakes are beautiful with lovely Fresh Vibrant Flowers cascading down the sides, or perhaps placed between each cake , in a more structured display. Simply Beautiful.
There are endless decorating possibilities, fresh berries, sugar flowers or beautiful handmade sugar butterflies. Rich Chocolate Truffles, handmade chocolate roses and leaves. Cakes can be wrapped in Chocolate Collars, or with chocolate curls. Chocolate Lace is my favourite and looks so Vintage wrapped around a cake, beautiful for any wedding.
Rose Petals, Organza ribbon and raffia are also often used… endless possibilities…..
