I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting, with training in financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, and reporting. I have experience as an Accountant, handling bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. I also worked as a Finance Divisional Manager / Operations Manager, overseeing budgeting, cash flow, internal controls, and operational efficiency, using financial systems and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.

Describe a recent project that you have completed.

I completed statutory audits and multiple tax returns. This involved audit procedures such as testing financial records, reconciliations, substantive testing, and verifying supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. I also prepared VAT and income tax returns, ensuring correct calculations and timely submission. I used accounting systems and Excel to extract, analyse, and validate financial data for reporting and compliance purposes.
