Equitas Valuation was founded by Marc Prins in March 2017, after the closing down of the Old Mutual Valuation Division where he was employed for 11 years. Equitas Valuation is a property valuation company which operates mainly in the commercial sector offering valuation solutions and advisory to prestigious clients. Equitas Valuation are property cash flow specialists.

The word "Equitas" is derived from the Latin word meaning justice, fairness, equity. We believe these principles are of importance to property valuation. Our Valuers are registered with the South African Council for Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) and South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV). We value predominantly using the Discounted Cashflow Method (DCF) and utilise Cougar Valuation Software.
