I consult from MAIN AVE, RIVIERA (between Killarney and Rosebank. Close to Saxonwold, Parkview, Houghton etc). I also work online.
I have extensive experience as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. I’ve worked in schools, children’s homes, in community and corporate settings. Now I'm in private practice where I see adults and children. I've also been a clinical supervisor on the Clinical Masters Programme at Wits University and have co-authored a counselling textbook and published a number of articles - on burnout, whistleblowing, how GPs can help patients with mental health problems etc.
I treat people whose life situations have become problematic. These include low self-esteem, fitting in at school and dealing with bullying, and other teen social problems. I see adults, parents, couples (LGBTQI+), teens and children who are distressed at home, or school, or at work, and who may be suffering from anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, eating, sleeping, sexual and substance misuse problems. There is also the challenge now of helping young people cope with social media and AI. We are all at risk and its important to talk about these things.
